MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
COVERAGE: HAZLETON AREA AND SURROUNDING TOWNS IN LUZERNE COUNTY
PAY RANGE: $25 - $50 PER EXAM
JOB DETAILS:
- Must be willing to travel to client's location for appointments.
- Availability required is for 1-2 weekdays from 9am - 1pm and 1 Saturday morning a month, other availability to schedule clients would be a plus including any afternoons or early evenings.
- Paid on a fee per case basis twice a month.
- Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documentation of health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKG's when needed (will train with our equipment).
- Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation, current Driver's License & Auto insurance.
- Must have computer with internet access, a printer to print orders and documents.
- YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN: BP cuffs ( reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 360 lbs., metal tape measure. Blood and urine kits will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine.
- BACKGROUND CHECK AND URINE DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED.
